Everyone is anticipating the matchup between Welsh and Ferrari. Something just occurred to me. Last year we all were looking forward to seeing CStar vs Arnold and Brands held back Arnold and threw in Ferrari. Maybe he’ll pull the same thing in reverse this year. Welsh vs Arnold. Of course Brands will be accused of ducking, but when does Brands ever care about what other people think?

Brands will be accused of sucking,

FIFY, your welcome.

How many matches do I think Iowa will win?

time house GIF

We sure get a lot of mileage out of Animal House.

Of course, I had the great privilege of living in a real animal house, 5th and 6th floor Pinchot Hall ('82-85). aka New Castle House.

Had the brilliant idea to turn the showers into a hot tub. Worked just fine until the water seeped into the walls and we heard the snapping of lights on the 5th floor.

I have no doubt about the fact that you all will be very kind and polite about telling me all the ways and reasons why some of these picks are wrong! Lol.

I agree with pretty much every single pick. Of course I don’t know **** so take that into consideration. Only difference imo might be Barr with a TF.

It's hard to contemplate. Imagine what it must feel like for Iowa fans to have at least the slightest fear they go 0-10. Sure we are talking low single digit % probability, but most reasonable fans on both sides should agree it's possible. Such a storied program facing that kind of outcome is mind boggling. Admittedly the same logic applied in reverse gives a single digit percentage chance of 5-5.

I am with most, seeing it as 8-2 for the good guys with a 'realistic' best case 9-1 and worse case 7-3.

I really don't want to kick a dog when it's down. It just seems that since about the time Spencer got pinned it's been like a recurring curse for the Iowa program. One thing after another without end...

The gambling charade, losing Jesseroga, the Ferraris and the double birds, Chittum, Bassett, Miller, now Endine.

Most of the NIL big adds have proven to be just a waste of money.

Only to watch OSU go from relative obscurity to legitimate 2028 contender in just a few years.

It's is really hard to believe that 5 years after a national championship where Iowa defeated PSU in a dual, there is even the slightest fear of losing via shutout. Wow

It's pretty clear to me that Iowa can be riding a new wave of optimism just like OSU with just a simple change. Maybe we should all not be so eager to push the twin tasmanian devils off a cliff. A super strong Iowa program is inarguably better for the sport, but ain't this version just plain fun?

Again, Iowa is good for showing us what we need to work on. It's also an exercise for the possibility of running into a match in Cleveland with a poor officiating crew. It's never quite what we might think it's going to be. It's basically a seasonal checkpoint that takes place to show us what we need to do. We aren't going to win every single match.

Bite your tongue.
I may hate to be wrong, despite it happening frequently but tonight when I say 9-1 is the best bet I want to 10-0 WRONG!!!!

10-0 would be a nice night for the good guys. Will the official get Angelo off his knees and make him present himself?
