Why didn't anyone tell DT and Gilman that? Can someone go tell them that internet warriors are against it?
This is so weird in the biggest dual of the year and in the toughest place to wrestle we may wrestle our true freshmen. I would not mind it but why did we not do this in an easier dual first.
Riiiiiight. Because wrestling in the room is the same thing as wrestling at Carver - in your first folk match EVER.
Hell. Look at what a big environment did to Lilledahl. Or your first college match like Sealey? Or mark hall’s first match out of redshirt.
Just saying, history shows us this is not going to go well. And Ayala ain’t exactly some easy out.

That honestly sounds like some gamesmanship. Unless Wyatt is hurt - no way Doucet is wrestling.
I could see them sending out Doucet if the duals locked up for either team.
If by any chance we win early before HWT, this might be a test for Doucet to see his offense improved or not.
I could see the Sakamoto weigh-in as gamesmanship, where now they have to worry about this unknown quantity. KD is a known quantity and would be a relief so I don't think they're going to scramble to gameplan for him

I see some potential in Rin on his feet for sure. Like the kid
Rin only giving up a major in that situation feels like a win. Tagen needs to dominate this guy.
So far Iowa’s plan is tie up, wrestle defensive, counter, heavy hands wait for the crowd to call for stalling against their opponent.
