I drew a weird line in the sand with peacock. It’s cheap so I don’t care about the money. If peacock is successful, next thing is cbs, abc and fox will make their own and start putting games on it. I have cable and a few streaming apps. It’s enough. ESPN/FOX Bundle for 40$ is working good so far.
Expect now they just bleed you dry eternally. It’s a pain in the *** to cancel after the season, so you just keep it rolling. Because it’s only $2.99. But then it goes to $5.99 and keeps going up. So yeah, two $30 games before sucked. But it was still cheaper than the monthly subscription bs they make you do now
One of the reasons I put more than one college FB game on at a time is because the commercial breaks are insufferably long. Even Penn State-Iowa is better than yet another Verizon or State Farm commercial.

Yep, that was a dumb decision that almost cost Iowa the game. Such long field goals are just too easy to block.

The 66 yard fg attempt was beyond bizarre. Hawkeye fans were blowing up.
Which may also occur when Iowa plays Nebraska in 6 weeks...
Iowa's Offense is noticeably better than in the last few years, their Defense is punishing as usual. There Special Teams are light years ahead of most teams they play. Unless Nebraska's O line improves drastically the Black Friday game could get ugly for Nebraska.

Not saying it was the right decision (the result showed it was not) but the fact the first kick was way short doesn't mean that he does not have the leg to make it. When a kicker hears the whistle but gets the free 'practice' shot at a long FG, many times they will attempt a 'wind kick'. Not to put everything they have into the 'practice' kick, but just to get the ball up into the air to see if/how the wind affects it.

I think Iowa football only has one game a year on Peacock, as do many other Big 10 schools. With more hoops games, all teams will have a couple games on Peacock.
Penn State still has a lot of athletes and were fired up to play for their new coach. I doubt Nebraska beats them.
