i have a 3G and it will only charge when off anyone know how to fix this?

What else is going on? Need a little bit more detail

Only charges when dead or off I think it maybe from my old belkin car charger Trying to sabotage my phone

Do a hard reset. Hold down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the top for about 15 seconds. The power off message will come on. Continue to hold it. The phone will cut off. Continue to hold them. When the apple logo comes on, release the buttons.

If that doesn't work, do a brand new restore on Itunes. You will have to set up your phone as brand new. Make sure that you have your contacts saved somewhere or you will lose them. If that doesn't work, buy an Iphone 4.

I don't remember when my Wifi turned off, but it hasnt worked in quite a while. It usually doesnt recognize any networks, but on occasion it will pick one up. Even when it does pick one up, it won't connect to it.

Any recommendations?
