Actually, Obama (who has been gone for 9+ years) signed a very US-friendly agreement with them that would have prevented them from ever getting a nuclear weapon, and Trump withdrew from the agreement against advice from all over the spectrum just because Obama hurt his feelings one time.
But that's outside the scope of the discussion here, which is that Trump made "I'm a peace candidate" a major plank of his campaign, only do to the complete opposite. How do people still not see every word he says as unreliable BS?
Perhaps, but one side is far worse than the other, and it's the side that sent a violent mob to the Capitol to overthrow the government and abolish the constitution all because they got their panties in a wad because they lost an election.
People have been saying for years that we, the US need to stop kicking the can down the road on multiple issues. I won’t necessarily give Trump the credit for being the one to try to deal with them but whether by choice or by not having a choice anymore, we are now dealing with them. Hopefully things go our way.

I believe Jan. 6 was awful and everyone involved should face jail time. I also believe that the people that caused 1 billion dollars in damage during the BLM protest should face jail time. What the difference. You burn the capital of private property. They are both awful.
