Is anybody going to put a big wager on MSU this weekend?

I just feel like there is a no way we do not cover. I feel like we come out and play well on both sides of the ball.

i learned not to bet on msu games. you think you have a sure thing and then the team has a let down against an opponent they should easily beat. and there you are losing money PLUS feeling all pissed off that state just lost.

MTSU +4.5. And they are also saying we get beat out right! I say WOW....there is no way in the world this happens. I just don't see it.

these professional gamblers you're listening to? Something tells me they have no idea what they are talking about, also most professional gamblers either live on the street or don't talk about what they know (at least not for free).

SHUT THE 17 UP! Do not ever dis-credit me on a message board you dousche. How about you just take what I gave as free advice and go back to your basement? I hope to hell this guy is wrong, but I will also say he's up about 15K on his bookie this year so I tend to follow his advice. For some reason that just makes sense to me. I also can understand for a jabroni like yourself that may not make sense.

MSU opened as a 2-1/2 point favorite...the line is now at 5 or 5-1/2

That tells you lots of money on the Bulldogs

Sure he is. Have you been privy to every bet he's made and amount bet or is he the type of guy to tell you all about the "big wins" he had over the weekend on Monday morning?

I ask because I have a friend that claimed he was up 20K just before filing bankruptcy.

But there is alot of time left to place your bets and with the line moving like that he is saying the better "money" play is MTSU. It may be around 6 or 6.5 by kick-off. Let me say again that I hope MSU wins by 3 TDs and for some reason I think they do. I was just repeating what I was told because I thought it was interesting.

So you can watch all of his games? To answer your question he gives me every game. I just don't have the nuts to bet the amounts of money he does.

I've changed my mind. If you're willing to forward it to me just post it for the board. Let's see what he's got and compare him to the resident gamblers.

Which is why I requested they all be posted. It's too easy to bust people's balls for losing only to have them come back and say, "well, I won games X, Y & Z but didn't post them."

I promise you I won't come back and say what you stated above. I could give 2 sh^ts about making an awesome point on a message board with the intentions of blowing everyone's mind and that was not my intentions with this thread. I was just stating an observation I read in an email. But perceive whatever you like.

people are ganging up on MSU....I, for one, never gamble on MSU games, but I put a little on us to cover at -3.....I am not trying to disrespect your guys street cred, but all the power rankings, and saragin (sp) rankings have MSU winning......I would love to know his formula.......I personally think MSU is the best 2-4 team in america.....MTSU is and will be dangerous, but they are not as good as the last 3 games we have played, so I dont think our players will be pressed to be perfect to win..... and I dont wear wool

I just don't see us losing, and 4 does not seem like a lot of points in this case.

CROSSED FINGERS on the turnovers.

I don't always bet on MSU games , but when I do it's a winner. Stay thirsty my friends.

I think MSU is going to lay the wood to MTSU and win by at least 14. I'm betting it 3x my usual play.

"Insiders???"
MTSU got blown out by Clemson and Troy, plus we handled them fairly easily last year, so I don't see any way how they can be anything close to a safe bet.

Plus, anyone that has watched MSU knows that we're a few turnovers away from possibly winning our last 3 games against some very good teams. We limit the turnovers, we beat them by 10+. Turnovers and bad luck won't continue to happen

are the kiss of death. Anytime you see more than two touts on a game run far, far away. You can basically reduce all the headache of capping games to just fading the likes of Brandon Lang, etc.

There isn't a whole lotta difference in the guys offering you tonights game for free but eventually takes money when you call their 1-800 number and people who tell you how much it will cost to increase you Thetan levels.

I think Dixon averages 6 yards per gain and we blow them out i think we settle for a field goal only if we are going into half but besides that i think we run all over them. I watched them play Troy and they looked terrible

Who the 17 do you think you are? That has got to be the absolutely most douchebag thing I have EVER seen written on here. How dare someone on a message board question the gambling prowess of your butt buddy. Seriously, please go shoot yourself.

MSU -4.5 at MTSU--win
Texas -3.5 vs Oklahoma--loss (dang, I thought about buying that 1/2 extra point--would have pushed)
Ohio State -14 at Purdue--loss
Houston -17 at Tulane--win (small amt by accident)
Arkansas +24 at Florida--win
Virginia Tech -3.5 at Georgia Tech--loss (small amt by accident)
Boston College -3 vs NC State--win
Cal -3.5 at UCLA--win

Edit: Added: Miami -14 at UCF--win
UL-Lafayette -7 at Western Kentucky--win
Washington +7 at Arizona State--push

7-3 (really 6-2) for the day.

Well I got mine in early in the week at -4 @ bet jamaica. It has moved to MSU -5 today and my local book isn't even taking action on it. I think We are going to roll today.

10* A & M -5.5 Going to see them step up in this game. Expect them to win by 2 TD's, and I believe if it gets to rolling their way earlier it may get ugly

10* S. Carolina +17.5 Come on. These aer the kinds of mathcups Spurrier lives for, and his defense will step up, BIG TIME. SEC games, Spurrier, and him getting blown out, just doesn't happen

7* OU +3.5 Line is as smelly as it comes. Texas should be favored by a TD, I see OU winning out-right, so I will be playing a little M/L too

7* Wiscy -2.5 Line opened a +1 and I thought that Iowa should be favored by 5 or more, and now Wiscy favored. Come on

5* E. Carolina -17 Rice may not win even one game. Navy beat them by 40 last week at Rice, E. Carolina should beat them by 30 at home

5* Houston -16.5 (bough the .5) Tulane getting alot of betting money this week, because Cougars have injureis EVERYWHERE. Except QB, WR, and running back,a nd that is where all the points will come from.

5* Colorado State +22 TCU is good, but offense is that strong to beat somebody by over 3 TD's

3* Memphis +16 Line opened at -10 for Southern and now this. 6 point mover, and Southern Miss has players going down left and right with injuries. Somebody must know more than me, cause I just don't see it

3* T.Tech +11 Another line movement out the ***. Opened at -5.5. Come on Leach has QB system down pat, I think I could don the pads and throw for 200 yards in that system.

3* Marshall +21.5 (bought the .5) Too many points

1* Purdue +14.5 (bough the .5) should keep it in single digits

1* Middle Ten State +4.5 Very tough to go against the Bulldogs and the SEC, but I am afraid they get beat out-right.
