Pretty sure this is it.
He's doing Army v. Navy next week. Don't know about bowl games.
They named Brad Nessler several weeks ago as his replacement. In fact Brad and Danielson did the Ark v. Mizzo game the Friday after T'giving.

He's one of the best ever, if not the best. I really will miss him and his voice. For me, his voice is synonymous with college football. I give him the right to retire, of course, but he is still on top of his game, wish he would reconsider.

I will miss Verne very much,, it seems he loves the game and loves his job but doesn't take it too seriously! He has been the perfect set up guy for Gary D!!

I think he's still scheduled to do March Madness.

CBS did a great job with the send-off during the post-game just now.

Bout time. He was good when he could keep up. Misberger vitale and a few others need to follow suit.

Verne was pretty good, but Jackson stayed on out west late in his career. Both were part of what made college football great. Like Vin Skully they are some of the best.

Jackson, Verne are probably the two best college Football announcers in my life with Jackson being #1. When CBS began covering college Football in around '82, I didn't like Musberger, but he grew on me. Still not in the league with Jackson.

Verne has called the Laettner shot, Kick Six, and Tiger's chip at the 2005 Masters.

One of the most iconic plays in each of their sports. That's pretty damn cool.

The best. If only for his great call of the 1992 Kentucky-Duke game alone ... has a big place in UK sports history.
