Our D gave up 42 to NMST everyone saying this game is a W that game is a W etc.... so fourth so on etc...... They way our D is playing no way I count any game on this schedule a 100% W. Hell Eastern should of beat us last year they out played us. I will go 1% higher. Austin Peay is 0-2 with a 40 point loss to Troy and a 34 point loss to OVC rival Tennessee Tech.
Austin Peay has NO shot against UK. They are at the bottom of the OVC this year. That game will not be a competitive game like EKU last year. The Colonels had a transfer from Ohio State on the defensive line who went in the second round of the NFL draft and now starts as a rookie for the SF 49ers.
Austin Peay's last win was against Murray on October 18, 2014! They lost every game last year. In their most recent game, Austin Peay got crushed 41-7 by a school called Tennessee Tech. Austin Peay is about the softest team we could possibly schedule. We should be more worried about the entire team developing cavities after feasting on this sugary cupcake of a game.
This is an easier game than Charlotte was last year. By way of comparison, NM State would probably be a 20 point favorite against Austin Peay. Were we to lose this game, it would be the most embarrassing loss in our history, worse than an Eastern loss would have been. We'll favored by five or six touchdowns. So, no, we won't lose this game. I would not have said that about the last game: this game is different.
As bad as things are these days, Austin Peay should be obliterated. If Austin Peay is a loss...we don't deserve a football program.
