Is Bauer going to pitch this year?

I imagine the starting weekend rotation for the Lipscomb series is what will likely be your starting SEC weekend rotation. Until then, I wouldn't read anything into any thang! Coach O will mix it up a little until then. We have Arky on the road right after Lipscomb, and then Vandy Boyz at home. The playing around with the lineup becomes real serious real fast during the Lipscomb weekend.

the last scrimmage report that i read which was recent said that he was lights out for 1 2/3 innings and then lost it and got wild as hell. The tea leaves indicate that he isn’t there yet and he probably pitches in mop up duty when we are comfortably ahead of a weak opponent.

William Kirk was good during his appearance in the last game. In the Fall, he gave up five runs against LA Tech. I hope Bauer makes the same kind of jump this Spring. We will need these ‘kids’ for a long run.

I just figured with two midweek games, the Chameleon was saving some arms and planning on throwing some of the fresh meat out on Alcorn, since that's basically unloseable.

We played two close games and the one that wasn’t close was Game 1 of a DH so we were trying to preserve arms for the second game. I think we pitched the guys we are expecting to rely on most this year, and anyone you didn’t see is a younger guy that’s gonna have to earn more appearances via how they perform in midweeks.
