When Pope was first hired so many rumors said 2 or 3 players would follow but I haven't heard anything since.

Robinson is the main one we want to land.
I might be wrong but I think he has fond feelings about BYU and does
not want to destroy their program and thus will not take any more

Yes, but if the BYU players enter the portal they may go elsewhere if not UK. Or go back to BYU for more money, IF they are looking to get paid.
Also some players still have an expiration date on their nil we are waiting maybe to be in portal...
I think Robinson is still likely. Just gotta wait and see.
I'm not saying he won't take any if they are in the portal, just that I don't think he is courting them strongly.
Unless they are high rated players like Chandler who are looking for a legit NBA future they aren't leaving BYU.. they don't go there for the coach. It's a big thing in the Mormon church to say you played there. Basketball is actually a big part of the church from my experience - I never walked in one that didn't have a really nice full length court. I was married to a Mormon for many years I got a little experience there.
I think Ribinson enters the portal before or on May 1....and I think we add him to the roster.

It was reported on HOB that Pope was not pursuing Hall . This was shortly after Hall entered the portal. Kinda surprised me .
Saunders will likely commit soon... Jaxon Robinson is good enough to be drafted this year. If he plays another year of college basketball, it will almost certainly be at Kentucky. And then, of course, Chandler. That's a solid trio of wings.
That's probably it. Hall didn't see eye-to-eye with Pope, so he won't be coming. Marcus Adams wants to go closer to home in California. So, that's likely it.
Since there's a report that Saunders is "on campus", and since Coach Pope has spoken glowingly about him, one would have to think Saunders is definitely coming. I haven't heard or read anything about Robinson coming to U.K. Did I miss something ?
He won't be back at BYU. 99% chance it's either the NBA Draft or Kentucky. He just hasn't declared his intentions one way or the other. If he enters the portal, absolutely expect him at Kentucky.
