Or a cyborg of some kind? In one of their first meetings, he instructed his freshman how to properly brush their teeth. That’s exactly what a robot would do. Something off about his wiring....he can certainly win titles. His programming has that down-pat.

That at least makes sense. There's probably 10 solid hours of practice time wasted over a college career from having to retie shoes.

Derek Dooley did the same thing at Tennessese....sometimes they brush and sometimes they don't

A common coaching method to humble the egos of child sport prodigies. Teach them that the basic little details are important. And that they don't know all they think they do. Despite everyone telling them for years they walk on water.

Corbin interview after the game

Reporter: "How does this feel?"
Corbin (in a robot voice): "I am just happy for my players and Vanderbilt University"
Reporter: "Can you tell us the personal words you had with Coach Backich?"
Corbin (still in a robot voice): "That was a personal conversation, but I am happy for my team"

the only emotion he showed was when he got doused in Gatorade and started jumping around....in retrospect, he probably just short-circuited

Maybe that explains why he is the smartest and most articulate coach of any sport in the SEC. He is very impressive.

I think he has extra brain matter. Look at that head. There is 8 inches between the top of his eyes to the top of his head.

I call him silo head.
