Herky hasn't won a bowl game since we joined the Big Ten, so they are do.
If they play a clean game they have a great shot at beating Florida.

I definitely like Iowa's chances to win their bowl game better than I did with Nebraska having a chance in Nashville.
Their healthy we weren't. Wasn't to hard to figure out. Thought them and Wisconsin had the best chance of winning.. Had a feeling Meechigan and Bucknuts would lose along with Penn St.
If Nebraska was "healthy" I still don't believe they beat Tennessee because Armstrong would still have been running for his life with our porous offensive line. Consequently Westerkamp wouldn't have had as big of an impact as needed.
And if Tennessee had all of their "injured" players back for the bowl game...oh never mind. Winking
it's good to hear y'all like iowa's chances...ussually it's good to pick the southern team or warm weather team at bowl time cause they have less adjustment. okie state, miami, hawaii, fsu, clemson, lsu etc.. the only north team that seemed to win was ksu over a&m.
hopefully the hawkeyes can stay focused. I think usc wins too, they get the bowl in their back yard.

I should have known better Heisman's usually don't win their bowl games. Good choice,LSU gets a QB they will be giving Gump all they can handle next year.
That's how it used to be, but I recall one of the announcers in a bowl game I watched a day or two ago mentioned that the heisman winner has won their bowl game every year since like 2009 or so.
That is why I typed usually, I know Mariota and Henry and I believe Manziel won their bowl games.
Hawkeye buddy of mine is really pumped that they can win tomorrow because of the way they finished the regular season.
It actually shocked me when I heard it.
I was pretty sure there was a run of like 10 to 15 years where the heisman winner lost the bowl game. Guess I am getting older and the years are flying by faster.
Arguably Wisconsin, Indiana, Northwestern and Minnesota came to play (which is remarkable because Minnesota threatened to not show up at all).
