Looking at half of the threads on here you would think we lost today. I really am starting to believe that many of you WANT us to lose and are pulling for us to lose because you dont like Stans or want him fired. A win is a win whether if its by 2 or 22 points.

Just enjoy a win, hell we are on a 3 game winning streak to end the season and have some momentum going into the SEC tournament where Stans always does a great job. Support our basketball team and our university even if you dont like our coach.

I think there are a lot here including myself that have grown more and more frustrated with Stans. The team that he put on the court this year and the trouble they have been in all throughout the year has turned a lot more people against Stans for the way he has handled the players. It has seemed all year that the inmates are running the asylum. Sidney not being within 50 pounds of playing shape at the end of his suspension was also directly on Stans. Add to that the fact that Stans has made some really boneheaded coaching moves this year and you get a lot of people that believe that we can do better, myself included.

Then in another close game, our coach almost hand them the win by running on to the middle of the floor, something most coaches know is a huge risk for a technical foul. Now whether it was his running to the middle of the floor, his bitching at the ref, or the combination of the two, it was a boneheaded move that almost gave away the game.

I think most of us know that he is coming back for another year, unless he removes himself from the equation.

If you think it is negative now, wait till Stans is running the team again next season. The momentum has built this year with a lot more people jumping on the bandwagon that Stans needs to go. Until that happens, and Stans quits giving people reasons to ***** about him, it is not going to stop.

If we don't beat the everliving crap out of a opponent...Stans loses.

Not that everything was perfect, but it was a win.

But when a group of people cannot even enjoy a win for finding a laundry list of Stan faults during the game, it goes from frustration to something much, much sadder.

As far as how negative it is, that was part of the genesis of this board and there has always been an embrace of being negative about anything and everything perceived wrong with MSU. If Stans continues his downward slide, I expect no more gloom and doom than the norm for the board.

I think Coach 34 is cyberstalking all of us here at Six Pack and it's like he's got many here under his mind control. A board full of Coach 34 Zombies.

With Stans you get some good, but the bad is really overtaking the good by leaps and bounds. The excuses next year will be, we lost three starters, we are having to play freshmen, etc. If Rick would make some coaching changes in the offseason, we beat some talented teams next year, and make the tournament without being forced to win the SEC tourney I will be fine. Until we improve our position in this conference and in the country by putting quality players that play the game on both ends with pride and respect for MSU, the game itself, and for Stans then I will not be happy. All of that starts with the HC.
