Is it just me or does Favre throw sidearm?

So that's why the 6-3 Notre Dame commit was able to lead the offense up and down the field? Gimme a break - the only offense today for the East team in the game today was with Favre at QB.

The Okie State record setting QB also throws sidearm and he had some nice numbers there (I don't know his height though).

Also seems that while guys that throw sidearm have some success, they also seem less accurate as a general rule

Everyone seems to complain about Favre's height (and justifiably so after mini-Lee), but what about Jeremiah Masoli at Oregon? His "vertical deficiency" didn't seem to hurt him too much this year.

He also had a pass tipped that resulted in an interception. I never said I questioned his ability to run an offense. I merely stated that his throwing motion combined with his less than ideal height is a concern.

have never watched a single down of MSU football in your lifetime. We go through quarterbacks like Spinal Tap goes through drummers.

At some point in his career, that kid will be our only viable option. Guaranteed.

is based off the zone read and he's perfect for that. He's big, pretty fast for his size (at 225 lb), and he has pretty easy reads in the passing game. I don't think we would use Favre the same way they use Masoli. Favre is a smaller guy and wouldn't last the whole season in the SEC.
