is it just me or does Nutt sound happier now that he's done at TSUN?

Even at the presser on last Monday he seemed relieved to get his *** out of Klux-ford and all this past week - like giving interviews on Tim Brando show while laughing and **** about stuff? Hell, I don't blame the guy for enjoying the huge *** buyout money but as far as being completely committed for the long run at TSUN - its safe to assume he was never "all in"

Hell, he even admitted on the Tim Brando show THIS week quote "We have been a 30 minute team all year." This does not bode well for the kool-aid drinkers on omspirit.com for their grandiose visions of running the table to go 3-0 to end the season. Jeebus what a train wreck they are.

milk money as a child, or did you catch you old lady with a TSUN Black Bear, or what? You seem to have an enormous amount of hatred for OM. Take this as an opportunity to get your feelings out and do some healing.

what a train wreck they are. It's a statement 95% of the Ole Miss fan base would agree with. The Brando interview was one of Nutt's best. His just-got-fired press conference was good too. Nutt reminded the Bear faithfullthey had never gone to Atlanta and that was one of his main goals, but just couldn't do it at Ole Miss. They didn't needthat reminder. Not hatred, just truth.

Hilarious to know you supporters of that school up north can roll off calling yourselves "a TSUN black bear" and "OM" in the same sentence. Ok, I'll take your advice and choose Saturady, Nov. 26th "as an opportunity to get my feelings out and do some healing" after we skull-drag your *** back to the Sloan era. Oh, and tell Tyrone he can print this out...

Jerry Sandusky at a Cub Scout Campout, run smack for the next seven months about finally going to Atlanta, then get your asses kicked on the field. We laugh at you and pity you.

Thought we were going to Atlanta this year, or next year, or the year after. You pity us? You're the 10th best team in the conference and are the only sec school with an all time losing record. You are in no place to pity anyone.

nope. state's better than om, uk, vandy, and ut. state beats fla and au at home but they win if we play at their house. more like the 6-8 range. aside from bama and lsu the sec is pretty competitive.

....Keep talking about the past. Your championships should have "Ashokan Farewell"as its music. You last won an SEC championship when John F. Kennedy was President. We won one in 1998. You're the only West team to never go to Atlanta. You're the Sewanee of the 21st Century. Ole Miss should drop to Division II. We fart in your general direction, your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

Lets call it what it is. Nutt saw Ole Miss has a stepping stone until a better job came along. It was in the SEC. It was good money. Nobody expected much out of him. They were willing to worship him for next to nothing as far as wins go. It was everything he wanted for a stopover position. Then, he did ok. He had some real success at OM and thought maybe he would parlay this into a full time gig. Then it all went sour. Nutt never really cared for Ole Miss, not like he did Arkansas. He's older. He's tired. He's somwhere he doesn't really want to be. Yeah, he's probably not heartbroken over all of this.

... based on the Mullen hate on your board, I don't actually believe you.

Mullen is ahead of only Ole Miss in the West. In other words, he's achieved a status that even a toothless transvestite taking a diarrhea on a paper plate in a Texaco parking lot could achieve: ranking higher than Ole Miss.

Nice try, though.

"You last won an SEC championship when John F. Kennedy was president." Stellar smack from a fan of a team that last won the SEC when FDR was prez.

We won in 1998, when Bill Clinton was President.

Did you forget about UT going undefeated, beating you (3 sec losses) in Atlanta, and winning the national championship game in 1998?

FWIW you can pity us now. We could be the worst SEC team in the past 5 years and are the worst in school history. Nutt has robbed us and those crazy Arkansas hillbillies were right all along. There my medicine has been taken and may God help us all

something you have never done. Before you start, the West winner goes to Atlanta. Those nasty tiebreakers do mean something.

I don't know what you were meaning when you said we had 3 losses. A lot of people think we were 5-3 and won the SEC West for some reason. We lost to Kentucky and a horrible LSU team.

We've had three seasons in the last decade in which we won more games than you did the year you lucked out and went to Atlanta. And lost. Lucky for you, the West was weak that year.

I realize it's your signature smack, but it doesn't bother me one bit. Hell, even our mediocre-as-%%%+ "back to back Cotton Bowl" years were more impressive than the year you "went to Atlanta."

Winning a division with two losses is unthinkable in modern history.

As silly as the banner of West champs 2003 is in our stadium, and I don't know why it's there, the truth is Ole Miss that year was significantly better than your 1998 "Atlanta" team. We had to go undefeated in SEC play to win the West. We barely lost to LSU. Losing to LSU and going to Atlanta is just not a possibility.

..because our 1998 team went to Atlanta, while your 2003 team went to a second-tier bowl. You're the Sewanees of the SEC, and you should drop major college sports because there's room for one REAL University in this State- THE Mississippi State University, and we need your players for depth.

Go enjoy your coach, Cocky Cutcliffe. Maybe he can hire an assistant who can recruit.

Yeah, we haven't had a great year, but if you'd like to play "If" ... we are 6 inches away at Auburn and 2 point loss to South Carolina. We haven't had a great year, but to imply thatour 5th and your 6th places are remotely close, is foolish. The number 7 team in the country would be 4th in the SEC west right now. The gap between 5th and 6th is huge this year and last year. Last year's 5th celebrated a New Year's Day win. 6th lost to Jacksonville State. This year's 5th is a cupcake away from a bowl while the 6th is the cupcake. On the bright side, you can tell your new coach that he is guaranteed at least a 6th place finish in the SEC West ... oops, forgot about A&M.

9 of the 24 teams that have competed in the SEC Championship game since we did in 1998 had at least 2 conference losses, good for 37.5 percent of the time. This happened as recently as last season with South Carolina. Based solely on win percentage, the 1999 State team is the best this state has seen in about 48 years...
