Is it just me or is college basketball down

across the board this year? The teams and players seem to be a little down.

Best player is Evan Turner? Best team is Kansas/Kentucky? Kansas is already out, and I dont think Kentucky is gonna make the final 4.

I think thats why we've seen so many upsets in this tourney so far.

I know that's a tired refrain, but there seems to be more parity in basketball than we're used to.

In basketball, 1 individual, especially a point guard, can carry this mid major teams. If these mid major coaches can find a PG that fits exactly what they want to do, you can go up against the big guys every time. Find a point guard that loves the big stage, can shoot, pass, manage,and isn't afraid of these big programs, and you can builda team around it. I think in basketball more so than any other sport you can mold someone that isn't as highly rated into a contributor if you get them in the right system. That's what these mid majors are doing, and I think it will be this way for a long time.
