or has Gameday gotten increasingly boring as hell over the years? Now with Desmond Howard and the "guest picker" it is nearly unwatchable.

.....they value entertainment over information. I rarely watch gameday and could care less where they are every week.

Today I watched the SEC show on Fox. While it was fairly cornball with Charles Davis, David Pollack and Randy Cross, at least it was all SEC. The chick doing the twitter updates adds nothing.

I agree, I used always look forward to gameday on Saturday mornings. Now I don't care if I miss it. They made it way too long with too many human interest stories. I watched maybe 15 minutes of it this morning.

Bob Neal hosts a show from Atlanta that is 100 times better than the Charles Davis Fox show. They usually have a good, informative cast, including Tony Barnhart. It was on at the same time as the one on Fox.

It may also be that they don't talk about MSU like they used to when we were good. I always wanted to see what the gameday crew would say about the dawgs each week. Now we are irrelevant and they only mention our game if they are talking about our opponent.

Talking about us would be like talking about Duke or Iowa State. No one outside of those fan bases cares. You can pretty much take 10-15 teams and those are going to be the ones who get 95% of the play on Gameday.

When they expanded it, they had to fill time. With a shorter show, they got the information out that was relevant. I don't mind the guest picker. It gets Desmond Howard off the set. He is absolutely awful. There HAS to be someone else of color they can put on there because that has to be the only reason for Howard.

they seem to be getting smaller. And there are times where there is very little noise. Like D@A said, ESPN has taken a good thing and ruined it over time, like they do with everything. Honestly, I can't for the life of me understand why Desmond Howard is on there. He is a moron, and can barely form a coherent sentence. If they were trying to "diversify" the crew, there are dozens of better people they could've picked.
