Also the 49ers were 27th in sacks allowed last year. Sounds like Gore sucks at picking up a pass rush too. Maybe the OLine just blows.

Not sure if anyone else noticed it in the highlights, but Dixon was very supportive of his linemen blocking for him. Anytime they made a block he made sure to give them a head or butt pat.

these aren't the only comments I've seen from him where he really dressed down AD's first performance. Every other word he's poor mouthing something, just like our former dipshit.

is right, Singletary comes across as a whiny little *****. I guess Dixon isn't doing it the right way and we all know that there's always just one right way (ala Croom). I'm going to collapse if Singletary actually gives Dixon some deserved praise.

But I've always thought that Singletary sounded like Croom as in the way his voice sounded.

It just seems to me that whenever a coach doesn't like a running back for whatever reason, and yet that running back produces, the party line is always some lame coachspeak about blocking or picking up the blitz. I mean, does anyone remember Emmitt Smith pancaking a bunch of guys?
