many have read this, but I just took another look. Does it all make sense now?
LSU board hinting that Mullen is a lazy recruiter. Says he lets his assistants do most of his recruiting and he could not pick up the slack when Hud and Diaz left. I'm not a believer (yet), but I did take a second look at this article. Although Dan can coach with the best, this article doesn't give me alot of confidence. Just seems like the coaches were on their heels, especially CM. CJ is not a back breaker in my opinion and either the coaches agree or they were just slow to react.
My apologies if this is against the rules.

SDN: Have you gotten to talk with Coach Wilson a lot and gotten a feel for him as a coach and person?

SDN: Talk to me about the All-American game this past weekend, what was your experience like playing with all that great national talent but also with some other high-quality Mississippi prospects like Madison Central’s Tobias Singleton and South Panola’s Nickolas Brassell along with Lance Pogue being your team’s coach?

SDN: Will you make another verbal commitment or will you take it all the way to National Signing Day (Feb. 2)?

SDN: Have the decommitments of players like Brassell and Madison Central’s Joe Price affected your thinking about Mississippi State at all?

SDN: I’ve heard you’ve kept in close contact with Mississippi State sophomore defensive tackle Josh Boyd (Boyd is a former high school teammate of Johnson’s), is that true and if so, what has he been saying?

Johnson: “It’s still a work in progress. I definitely feel better now that I’m pretty sure the defensive scheme and style won’t change much. I’ll keep in touch with Coach (Dan) Mullen and we’ll see what happens in these next couple of weeks.”

SDN: Have you gotten to talk with Coach Wilson a lot and gotten a feel for him as a coach and person?

Johnson: “We’ve talked once this week but not as long as I would’ve liked because of trying to prepare for the All-American Game and I’m sure he’s been busy as well. I hope we’ll get to sit down this weekend during my official visit to the school and get to know them and have them get to know me as well. This weekend will be real critical to how I make my decision. Deciding where I want to go to college is so critical that I want to take my time and make sure I make the best decision for my future.”

Johnson: “It went pretty good I thought. It was a great experience to get a little bit of a taste of what college football will be like next season. I enjoyed it very much as an experience I’ll take with me for a long time.”

Johnson: “I’m going to wait until signing day – yes.”

SDN: Have the decommitments of players like Brassell and Madison Central’s Joe Price affected your thinking about Mississippi State at all?

Johnson: “Not really because here’s what people don’t understand. More than likely the reason they decommit from a school has nothing to do with me or my decision. I’m sure that guys like Tobias, Nick and Price have gotten pushing and pressure based on where they live to go to Ole Miss and you’ll get that based upon wherever you live. What I’m going to do is pick the best place for me and the place my mother is comfortable with me going to school for the next four or five years of my life. The pressure isn’t going to affect my decision.”

Johnson: “He’s really helped throughout this whole process and with my decision. Basically what he’s been saying is ‘go where you want to go’. He’s given me a lot of encouragement and advice throughout the process. He got me in contact with Coach Wilson once. Josh and I have such a strong bond so he’s been so important to me throughout.”
