Is it safe to say Templeton Hardy is a complete bust?

He's gotthree years left to play, still plenty of time to prove whether he's abust or not. Didn't he come from a super small school? I'm guessing he was very raw, both in football knowledge / experience and physically (maybe a poor weight program in h/s?) A 4-star recruit should be able to come in & help in his first couple of years so that's why I say overrated. But I wouldn't call him a bust just yet.

He might not be a bust yet, but I dont see any reason why he isn't going to be.

What position is he even at now? OL? I'm pretty sure we moved him from DL.

to me was, if he was such a stud offensive lineman why was he playing at North Panola instead of South Panola? Don't they "work out" something for elite level players?

by recruiting services, but I think we've had him at OL since he arrived on campus. Not sure if it was due to him being overrated as a DT or Croom thought we needed the extra depth at OL. We're pretty well stocked at both positions now so he's going to have to beat some guys out to earn playing time rather than just being thrown out there due to lack of depth (which was the case at times during the Croom era).

You guys are thinking of Jemarcus "Yoshi" Hardrick. Templeton Hardy never went to SP, that I know of.And I tried to make everyone here understand that he was overrated when he was recruited, but everyone saw stars. The guy didn't understand recruiting letters and offers.

Yoshi played at SP and then transferred toNP for a short period during the spring of 2007. He then transferred back to SP for his senior year.

That kid was never dominate at SP considering his size.He committed to AU, decommited from AU, went to Fort Scott jucoand playedwell enough for Nebraska to take him.

Outsiders love to suggest that SPrecruits, but they can't ever point out a star that wasn't locally grown.

has a blue-chip recruit, so I was always skeptical about Templeton Hardy. I also have mydoubts about boththe football player we signed and the basketball player you signed from Yazoo County.

then I think any doubts would have been removed last year when he played in all 12 games and started 4 games as a true freshman... I think Eulls will be a hell of a player as well.... Unlike Hardy, Cox and Eulls had coaches coming at them at the end trying to sway them from Msu. I'm pretty sure a lot of people here thought Hardy was overrated due to the fact Ole Miss never really recruited him. The jorts board creamed themselves over Hardy because of his stars, but from everywhere else the story was that Hardy was very raw but hadgreat size. I wouldn't pass judgement on Hardy yet though, he still has 3 years and being on the 2 deep could contribute this fall.

I somehow either didn't realize or forgot that Fletcher Cox was also from Yazoo County.
