Yes, you're already looking for contact no matter what, but there's also a high probability that the pitcher wastes one. Doesn't seem like a good time at all.

I'm sure we have a much detailed scouting report. SC may have a tendancy to throw outer half fastballs in 0-2 counts. That would be ideal for a hit & run. Maybe our report showed something about that certain pitcher, I don't know.
