We are at least two different nations (in actuality many more) trying to exist as one political body and we are starting to tear apart at the seams. The current divisions between the left and right will only deepen until the cold civil war currently raging goes hot, and I for one would rather divorce peaceably before open conflict becomes necessary. I say give the liberals all of New England and from the mountains to the beach on the west coast (minus San Diego), and let's get on with the business of living.

I don't want a hot civil war, I want both sides to get what they desire and then live with the consequences of their decision. The left has incrementally taken more and more ground and they do need to be put in their place though. If they aren't intelligent enough to see the folly in their socialistic paradigm then I wont feel sorry when they end up like Venezuela, I just don't want them dragging me or my kids along with them down their path of civil and cultural suicide.

I'll admit that this is an intellectual exercise on my part, but I do not wish for open conflict to resolve these problems. What I do know is that the left had better get their **** together and reign in their more communistic leaning elements or they're all going to get there noses bloodied metaphorically and literally.

Sad, sad commentary. SO many (especially the younger snowflakes') clamoring for all things Socialist/Communist and unwilling to look at history and observe ALL those who have followed such a route and the failure that was the ultimate result. Can we not wise up and desire to live according to our Constitution? Can we not have rule of law prevail? Can we not see the folly of Europe and steer away from it? I have little hope for the many,many snowflakes who have never learned to be reasonable and rational. I am truly concerned that the USA is on the brink of becoming another former great power, ala the Romans.

It's always funny to me, I start these conversations and the righties are like yeah let them socialist jagoffs have their own country and do with it what the wish, meanwhile the lefties are like "it's all ours and you're gonna keep working to pay for it chump".
