Certainly there is corruption in Capitalism, the Bernie Madoffs of the world as an example. However, within Capitalism, the corruption is not usually centered at the Gov't which is where the Socialism corruption concentration is. Also, with Capitalism, the individuals pulling the strings can change on a whim. Not so with Socialism. Change usually requires a lot of people to die. Lastly, you wouldn't be one of the haves within a socialist society my friend.

We are at least two different nations (in actuality many more) trying to exist as one political body and we are starting to tear apart at the seams. The current divisions between the left and right will only deepen until the cold civil war currently raging goes hot, and I for one would rather divorce peaceably before open conflict becomes necessary. I say give the liberals all of New England and from the mountains to the beach on the west coast (minus San Diego), and let's get on with the business of living.

I think this "nation" is currently at least 3 different "nations" trying to coexist as 1 and it is going to end bloody if it doesn't end voluntarily.
