The draft is supposed to be a good moment for the players. It's like signing day. What's negative about signing day from the perspective of a player?

I agree. In fact, they should be booed in all aspects of their professional life. When making an appearance at a charity or hospital, they should be booed. When running a camp for kids, they should be booed. When doing postgame interviews, they should be booed.
Afterall, they are booed in real games, right? So that justifies boos elsewhere.
Its the friggin draft, the NFL and NBA needs to stop that crap. If people are booing, toss em from the seats. Its the draft, its a time where these guys are being picked and told they will make millions. Its their introduction to the league and new team...how is a chorus of boos necessary or appropriate?
