From what I've seen of Byrne so far, he's probably got a good idea of who he's targeting. I hope so. I don't have a favored candidate myself but I would say either get a young up and comer who can use us as a "stepping stone" (that means at least 2 good years right?) or an old timer who's been to the top and is unemployed but still has the fire or an axe to grind (Fulmer, Tommy Bowden types), and no realistic chance of moving back into the big leagues. And for christ sakes it needs to be a college guy.
