Is NCAA Football 2012 any better than last year's version?

The running game is better now.Tacklers aren't sucked towards you. As a defender, I've had my guy freeze in place a few times while trying to read something, and as a DL you're locked into your initial assignment for a few key seconds, so that sucks, but overall it's an improvement.
The passing game is much harder. Defenders covering a zone suddenly become supermen, leaping three feet into the air and two feet over to magically snatch a bullet pass. That can get real frustrating, but it does keep you from blowing down the field on every possession.

the corners running through your receiver to bat the ball away is ********

offense line seems stronger than equal def lines as you can run it down the throat of most teams

First, it seems that there are a whole lot of High Schools in Mississippi that all of a sudden have the Baltimore Raven's defense on their team. All the offenses seem equally bad but you can give up running in the High School portion. You might as well sim every running play because aside from the rare 10 yard break it's almost always -2 to -6 yards
The coaching SUCKS ***! Since you can't call the play you are stuck with what the "coach" calls and they have obviously picked someone with a brain injury as your coach (High School and College). Hell, I was playing as the QB of MSU against USC the other day and we did 6 pass plays the whole game. And for most of the game we were down by more than 2 touchdowns. And yet we just did one running play after another.
Another fun Road to Glory bug, it forces you to watch all the highlight replays after each game. Drove me up the damn wall! You are forced to endure 5 minutes of replays you didn't care about the first time. I have no idea why they won't let you skip it but they won't.
Overall the game is pretty fun but Road to Glory is more annoying than fun. And it's just super easy to get 5* rating. No challenge.
