Is Rhule really a possibility? If so, how...

He would be a great hire.

Agree that he would be a strong hire, but he is rumored everywhere and Temple seems like it will fight tooth and nail to keep him. So, again, is he realistic?

I think Temple loses him unless they really pony up cash. I think if we want him we will have to out bid some big boys around the country. I think he would be a great get. I am a really big fan of him.

He probably will not be coaching Temple next year, but I would have liked to see how well he would have done if he remained...... I think many are focusing on this year and saying he is a great hire, I would like to see if he can sustain that success

Remember the last successful coach who left Temple to coach a big program. What's his name again and how did he do?

Oh yea Al Golden

+1. Temple had a great year, but weren't they 6-6, 2-10 the first two years under Rhule? I know that's an outstanding turnaround, but I'd want to see if he can repeat that success before anointing him the next big thing. Also concerned about his lack of experience coaching at big time programs.

The big boys have the luxury of hiring and firing at will, but at RU we have to be a little more careful about throwing money at the latest hot coach.

Agree...Rhule is not a sure thing. If he stayed at Temple for 2016 (which he won't), I think you would see a big drop off. He is still obviously a good HC, but not the home run everyone makes him out to be.
