It looks like it worked pretty good on Saturday... Just took him a little over a year to figure it out, but I am glad it is working.
Also when he gets that first foul when he is tired you better pull him b/c another one is coming soon so he can sit on the bench..

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Subbing for Sidney</span>
Stansbury took a different approach with forward Renardo Sidney's substitution pattern in Saturday's 91-88 win over Auburn.
Sidney
went to the bench at the 16-minute, 7-second mark - prior to the first
media timeout. He also did not start the second half, eventually
entering at the first media break.

It was the first time in SEC
play Stansbury had subbed for Sidney prior to the first media timeout
without foul trouble prompting him to do so.
"I'm just trying to
find any way we can to pace what we have to pace there - the best we
can," Stansbury said. "He has a tendency sometimes to pick up those
quick fouls the second half, too, so we bought a couple of minutes early
in that second half."

Sidney logged an efficient 23 minutes and scored 17 points, shooting 5 of 5 from the floor and 6 of 9 from the free throw line.

It is so frustrating watching him get a little tired and pick up a questionable first foul call only to follow that up with a lazy reach/charge 30 seconds later. Seems like he's picked up 2 fouls within a minute or so span at least 5 times this year if not more.

I am glad that Rick appears to be taking an active role to figure out the best sub pattern. He has had trouble with this over the years. Credit to him for trying somestuff.

We had a point in our last gameat about5 min remaining in the first half at which Bost, Moultrie, and Hood all were out of the game at the same time.We wentwith thislineup for three or four possessions and did a crappy job resulting in little scoring if I remember correctly. First time Wendell bobbled the pass he received at the FT line. The next couple of times Sid got the basketball at that same point and distributed it well, but somehow it didn't bounce our way resulting in points.

I worry that we will not respond well to being pressured full court. We better get that figured out with some crisp passes.

Also if Sidney misses any type of layup or something easy under the basket, there is a 99% probability of him slapping someone on their way by to making a layup on the ensuing possession. Watch for it.

If we could turn that 23 into 30 minutes, things could get nasty. That is solid production
