<div>Kentucky -20 vs Western KY (Nashville) (Western KY is not good, and UK did beat them 63-28 last year)</div><div>
</div><div>Florida International -13.5 vs North Texas (FIU is improving, picked to win the Sun Belt Conference)</div><div>
</div><div>Syracuse -6.5 vs Wake Forest (Syracuse will be improved, Wake is not good, maybe the worst in the ACC)</div><div>
</div><div>Ohio State -33 vs Akron (big line, but Ohio State will be out to prove themselves and show no mercy, Akron is the worst team in the MAC, too)</div><div>
</div><div>Louisiana Tech +14 @ Southern Miss (can't remember right now, but some research I did over a week ago made me take this, as with all these other picks--edit--USM did just barely beat them 17-16 last season)</div><div>
</div><div>Indiana -6.5 vs Ball State (BSU is horrible, and Indiana beat up on their OOC opponents last year)</div><div>
</div><div>UL Lafayette +37 @ Oklahoma State (Hudspeth won't lose by that much, OkState replacing OC and WR coaches, and OSU plays Arizona 5 days later)</div><div>
</div><div>Missouri -17 vs Miami (Ohio) (Mizzou won 51-13 last year, and Mizzou will be improved)</div><div>
</div><div>Northwestern +3 @ Boston College (Dan Persa is back and NW is a much better team with him, BC's best RB is out)</div><div>
</div><div>
</div><div>Haven't yet sprung for MSU -27.5 at Memphis, but might before game time. I don't like picking for MSU--if we lose (or in this case, don't cover), then I'm doubly pissed. I usually will pick for OM to win and for State to lose. If State wins the game, I feel like I helped 'buy' the win. If State loses, well, at least I got some money. And the opposite for OM. This week, I have OM +3 vs BYU. If BYU wins, I'll still be happy. (it would REALLY be cool if OM lost by less than 3)</div><div>
