Looks like they want to finally leave and join another conference. But the ACC? They should be embarrassed. They probably realize the the SEC and Pac-12 wont put up with their ****.<div>

What Texas wants is all the benefits of being an independent without the disadvantages (automatic BCS bowl bids, scheduling). Which is why I believe them when they say they triedto keep the Big 12 together. They had the best of both worlds. They got a bigger share of the Big 12 pie, plus got to start up their own network (which as of a week before the season began hadn't been picked up by even one cable system). They really could get left out in the cold when all this shakes out.
