Found this at lunch today in Houston, TX.... It was an inserted ad on every table of the restaurant.

And if you haven't eaten Rudy's BBQ... give it a shot. It's great.

I would say that it has more to do with him being inducted into the Cotton Bowl Hall of Fame.

Iassumed you were asking that since he was possibly charging for autographs but Im even more puzzled why you think he's broke because he's writing a book. So only broke people who need moneywrite books?

Plus I'm pretty sure Jackie is loaded, and not "head football coach loaded" but "successful business man that used to be a coach loaded."

Just a simple question though.... not real sure why Jackie would plaster his face all over Texas in a BBQ joint if he didn't need the money....

Think he's in it for the love the English language?

You guys are really taking this thing to literal.... It was just a simple lead-in question to show that I found a former MSU coaching legend in an odd spot...

1. Was the first million dollar coach when he signed with A and M
2. Loves the 12th man tradition
3. Has time on his hands
4. Is being inducted into the Cotton Bowl HOF
5. Married WELL ($$$$)
6. Was a successful business person in between coaching gigs
7. And if you haven't eaten at Rudy's you have missed out on some great Q! The thin brisket with trimmings plus COLD beer finished off with banana pudding makes my mouth water!

And the wafers were soggy.... and it was fantastic. And now, instead of working, I'm on a sport message board until I come out of this food coma.

When you look at this literally, you asked a really dumb question. And you aren't smart enough to let it go.

I heard him speak last week and I hope he doesn't get paid on performance. He was asked about the AD job at State and he did not deny his interest in the job!!
