Is the SEC having a down year?

What's a message board for if you can't make sweeping generalizations way too early in the year?
So before you message board tough guys talk about how idiotic it is to say this 2 weeks into the season, what are your first impressions.

WEST-
Bama-exception to the rule
LSU- still a good team, but still have questions that need answering
Arkansas- lost to a Louisiana school not named LSU
TXam- average against FL
Auburn- not impressive
TSUN- no comment necessary
State- Finally has a QB to match a top 20 D

East
Florida-Disappointing to say the least
Vandy- just lost to Northwestern
South Carolina- had a tough time with Vandy
Missouri- nothing impressive
Georgia- pretty good, but hard to tell with such week schedule
UT- may be improving, but still down historically
KY- at least they have a jelly named after them

Haven't seen a "good" team yet that has looked as good as advertised except for Alabama and maybe UGA.

Thought USC west was going to be dominant-good. They're good, but I expected better. Could be playing down to the opponent.
