For the last 3 years or so I would occasionally check YouTube and other media avenues for highlights of the previous weeks games that may not have been on the other highlight shows. Apparently, this new media deal has put the ax to that stuff... Which begs the question of "why?"... If I'm a salesman, I want my brand to be as visible as possible, and this CBS/ESPN contract is certainly part of that, but I would also include other things like YouTube, Bing, and so on... So, why have they put such strict restrictions on something that, to me, seems like it helps advertise your product. My logic tells me that in the long run this would actually hurt the SEC somewhat (whether on a big or small scale) Someone... Enlighten me

the potential marketing money gained from an independent SEC source product is probably not going to exceed the money from the SEC Network that ESPN is paying to the schools.
