When St. Johns made that run in the 2nd half where they were up 8, they hit 7 shots in a row, and I think 5 or 6of them were at the rim. This is the type of game where I would say Sidney should never touch the floor. We need Bost, Smith, Hood, and Steele getting to the basket, and we need athleticism on the offensive boards to get 2nd chance points and handle backside passes off the drive to the basket. That's got Moultrie and Lewis written all over it.

I think we can win, but we better not just sit behind the 3 point line and jack it up all day. We've got some slashers, and we need to utilize them in that way to not just attack the rim, but also get us some open shots outside. But Arizona is a good team, and I wouldn't be pissed if we loss. We made our upset in this tournament and got a solid win which was all I wanted.Winning this thing at this point is a bonus to me because I doubt anyone expected us to win it, especially going through TAMU and Arizona.Get at least one against one of these quality opponents, and we did that.

against each other. Win or lose I think we find out a lot about our team and its potential tonight.

But as always, he has to work. Other than the big Ukraine, Arizona doesn't have anyone within 3 inches and 50 pounds of Sidney. If he'll work in the post tonight, and finish the shots, he could be very effective. Same with Moultrie, who also has a size advantage. Of course what they have in size I suspect they give up in quickness, or at least Sidney will. For Sidney, I thought he rushed his opportunities last night. Dare I say nerves? That might even indicate that he cared a little bit. Anyway, I think there is some opportunity with him tonight. Arizona, from what I have seen of them so far, is fast and athletic. I think we need to run when we can, but try, just try to have a half court offense that's not solely predicated on a ball screen set at the three point line. Defensively, they are going to test us a lot more than A&M did because they are a much better perimeter team. Probably can't zone them much at all. I don't know how Sidney will fare defensively with bigs who will step out to the three point line for looks.

The one who played controlled ball last night, moved the ball around and built a 22 pt 1st half lead. Or the team who starter playing out of control street ball, throwing it around, dribbling off feet and knees and went into Half only up 9.

We can bear anybody is we play under control, but there are always periods of time in games where we seem to revert back to street ball. Don't know why but it happens and we get out of the rhythm.

This game should be close. Hopefully Sydney is in game shape tonight**. How many times did they mention that last night? Had to be more than 4.**

Is there anything more predictable than us blowing a big lead? If Stansbury goesinto an early stall Arizona will blow our doors off. We have got to stay aggressive for the entire game.

We match up pretty well with them. I think it comes down to defense and our Big Men not getting beat of the dribble.
We might want to play a little zone like we did last night, and hope they miss the 3's.
We have a slight size advantage inside against AZ and need to take advantage of it, You hear that RSS?
We will need to push it in our transition offense and get back in our transition defense in a hurry. It would also help to start the game off with some hot shooting like we did last night.
I was really impressed with the first 10 or so minutes last night, and then Stans went to the Stall in the first half... Why?? If you have the horses, you let them run... Go Dawgs

Moultrie and Sid have to finish and make their inside shots . St Johns was really outsized and had to zone a lot and Zona hurt them early with the outside shot . Hopefully we get the first officiating crew because they didn't seem to call as many ticky tack fouls. We played pretty damn good defense last night and other than shooting, Sid played good. Gonna be a fun game to watch and Zona has about three to four thousand fans here to about two hundred for MSU.

I don't forsee a big game from Sidney. Fatigue will be a factor tonight for all of our guys but will impact Sidney the most.
