Is there a QB in the SEC you would rather have next year than Prescott?...

Tough question considering our maroon bias but...

Georgia, Alabama, LSU, A&M, Mizzou all will have new QB's.

Ole Miss - I wouldn't take Wallace over Dak
Vandy - Carta-Samuel is graduating and the other guy played a lot but nothing too impressive.
Kentucky - who is their QB?
Tennessee - they have the freshman that played a # of snaps that we recruited
Florida - Driskel? Really
Auburn - Nick Marshall could possibly be the only person I would take over Dak but as I said above - maroon bias
Arkansas - Negative
South Carolina - Dylan Thompson is serviceable

Even overall - considering what's returning in the SEC at qb - I don't know if I would take another one.

Right now, absolutely not. Dak put up some freakish stats considering the number of total games and partial games he played this year. If he can stay healthy and we can get another playmaker or two to emerge, with the schedule next year, he could put some ri-damn-diculous numbers, as in north of 4,000 total yards.

There may be a guy waiting in line at one of these many schools that lose starting QBs better than Dak, but right now, I would be hard pressed to find someone I would want more...

Zero chance. Dak is the merlinz wet dream qb. Hell, he may be the best returning qb in the sec for any system. It is certainly debatable.

Not one. He could be the best overall qb in the league next year. He's better than Nick Marshall. Dak is bigger, much stronger, better arm and tougher to bring down. Only advantage Marshall has is his elusiveness.

No.

The fact that he performed the way that he did with all that he went through is enough for me to say he's the top returning SEC QB next year. The team rallies around him and kick into another gear when he's out there. I don't see another returning SEC QB that has that affect on his team. And he's just an overall good person

Not for me DS. The only debatable one would be Marshall. Dak is bigger, more durable, run's it better for tough yards, and I think he throws it better based on what I saw last night. I'm not sure I would trade him for mariota in our system.

Tennessee's guy is Josh Dobbs. Apparently he has a twitter account just for his eyebrows. https://twitter.com/Dobbs_Eyebrows

No. But not just for his athletic qualities. He's showing maturity and

leadership skills that are as good as any QB in my lifetime coming from MSU. The players respond to Dak and he has his teammates' respect. He's been through the death of his mother and a nerve injury and it hasn't seem to have phased him at all.

The play where he was the lead blocker and took the defender into the end zone blocking tells me everything I need to know. He is a leader and the team knows he will do everything he can (including lead blocking) to win. That's why his team plays harder when he's out there.

Looking at it in reverse............

I don't think there is a coach in the league (beside Freeze) that wouldn't trade their QB for Dak. And I bet if you get drinks in Hugh he'd admit that he'd make the trade too.

I would take Jameis over Dak 90% of the time, but our offense depends so much on the quarterback's ability to be a running threat. The only QB's in the nation that I would even consider swapping for Dak in Mullen's offense would be Braxton Miller, Marcus Mariota, or Brett Hundley.

I would rather have Maty Mauck than Prescott.

Excellent question, and one that I was recently debating with a Rebel friend. Marshall is the only one that I would consider, and ol Bo would be a distant second. My Reb friend stood by his man, but he put Dak as his second choice.

I ask you: When was the last time we could ask this question with a straight face?

I haven't been a fan of Marshall all season. Vegas had his over/under completions at 12.5 for last night, and that was spot on.

Marshall = direct snapping to a 3rd down RB, who either throws a perfect spiral or misses a wide open receiver by 10 yards.

I say that and sound biased because he's a QB who just took his team to the natty, but he also had a RB who rushed for an outrageous amount of yards when it counted, a defense that made a lot of red zone turnovers, and a special teams that won him games he otherwise lost. QB for QB give me Dak.

That's pretty funny considering.

Half of the OM fans including myself might not pick Bo over the rest of the OM roster.
