is AVERAGING 180 yards of rushing a game. That's ridiculous, I don't care who you are.
I'm sure that Bolden will likely be pretty good to. I think MGCC runs a similar offense to the one that we run, so that should help a little bit.
As far as the JUCO's, I think what has happened is they have started to kind of fall back under the radar a little bit since the SEC came out with that stupid rule that they have to play JUCO ball for two years. What happened is in the late 90's people like MSU and Kansas State started hitting JUCO's really hard and cleaned house and started winning, and then the big boys started to come in and take some of those players and the NCAA started to try to tighten up some rules to keep people like MSU down because the big boys were whining. After a while, what has happened, I think, is that the big boys have started to go almost exclusively back to almost all HS players so that they can develop them for five years instead of having them for just two. So, now we're back to an era where JUCO players are starting to kind of fall back under the radar in a lot of cases. What we've done so far- Rashad Henry, Bolden, and Ballard, along with Leon Berry and Hutchins and Brauchle from last year is pretty good.
I don't know how many more JUCO guys that we are going to get. Obviously, Newton and Carmon are at the top of the list. I know at one time we were looking at an o-lineman or two, but that seems like it has fallen down the priority ladder. I think it would be more likely that we get a JUCO corner or two. And I'm not sure where Wayne Dorsey fits into all of this.
