The #@+# acronym makes me cringe, but at least Mullen is emphasizing the rivalry. Croom was always way too preoccupied with getting his teams up for the Alabama game. Every Egg Bowl under him (with the exception of maybe '05, but even in that one I think Ole Miss scored first) we came out playing flat and uninspired.

I agree, I think it's pretty terrible. I'm just going to ignore it until this year's egg bowl. If we lose, it needs to stop. If we win, it could grow on me.

the 1941 isn't official, isn't in the <17>ing locker room for everyone to see, and isn't serious in the first place

while I still stick with just calling them Mississippi, Mullen is just following in Jackie's footsteps in building the rivalry up like it should be. Like Jackie, its very important to Mullen to be the number 1 school in the state. He wants to build school spirit. He wants to build pride.

Let him do it

I would imagine something on the internet is a lot more likely to seen by more people than something posted in a football team's locker room. "@%%##!%%%+!!@#@@%%%" doesn't bother me. I won't call them that, but if Mullen wants to do it, then more power to him.

The locker room is not meant for everyone to see. That was meant for the team and the coaches. Gene's dumb *** had to go publish it. He is one STUPID mfer. smh

I hope there are countdowns to all the games if there is really one to ours. Because in the scheme of things our game usually isn't that important. The fate of seasons has usually been determined by then. Hell, there should really only be a countdown until the next game, otherwise it looks like you're overlooking games.

I do fully realize it's just a clock though.

This guy is dissenting from a group of known rabid dissenters of popular opinion...

I mean, if the 6pack vibe is going against Mullen (and I'm guessing most of the blind-faith maron nation) on this one - wouldn't that mean the 6pack are the dissenters? And doesn't that make him the majority?

"Your game" is hugely important this year. Mississippi's inaugural trip to Atlanta could very well depend on it.

Honestly, who gives a **** how Mullen refers to Ole Miss? He brought it with him from Florida anyway.

It's growing on me...especially since I learned about it's origins coming from TSOW = the school out west (FSU) at Florida.

Will I be walking around calling Mississippi by that term..no thanks. But it's his bit.
But now he has to damn well find a way to beat them this fall.
