Is this our best pitching staff ever?

Will Cox may be our 4th best starter, I think that speaks volumes. I know we have had some good staffs over the years but I think this may be the best.

Get back to me at the end of the year. We're off to a great start- no doubt about that.

This is definatly our deepest staff ever. We have stoppers everwhere. I always forget someone everytime I try to name them all

Intersting thought

No- next year will be. And it wont even be close

Friday- Woodruff Jr.
Saturday- Lindgren Jr.
Sunday- Cox/Fitts Jr's.

Holder will be a junior. We lose Pollorena, Girodo, and likely Bracewell although he could come back. But we return Ross Mitchell, Myles Gentry, Shelly, possibly Evan Mitchell. We have a JUCO pitcher coming in next year name Ben Hudspeth. I've seen him pitch before and the guy is an absolute warrior. Luke Laster in another JUCO pitcher that we have coming in. Beyond that, we have some pretty good looking freshmen coming in- Austin Sexton, Dakota Hudson, Vance Tatum, Zac Houston, Glenn Irby, Avery Geyer, and Jacob Billingsley.

Ever doesn't include the future.

I say yes, but agree that next year should be even better.

Well, last year could arguably be our best pitching staff ever and then this year could be better and then next year looks like it could be even better says Jack Handey.

not sure about this but quite certain that cohen and thompson have, in a few short years, gotten us from one of our worst ever to one of our best ever.

Is it me or does anyone else get gastric issues when Evan comes to the mound?
Had the same feeling last year with Pollo after watching him dig us a 16 run hole against LSU two years ago. But he redeemed himself last year. I just can't see Evan doing as well

Cohen said this week that in his second season

in the 3 game series against OM, their pitchers threw 110 pitches that registered @ 90MPH or more. Ours threw 3. The job he and Thompson have done with our staff from then to now is nothing short of phenomenal. It's not just signing more talented pitchers, it is also the strength & conditioning program that makes all our pitchers stronger, better.
JC didn't say but I'll bet we have 10 or more pitchers on this year's club that throw 90+

The 85 staff had 3 ace pitchers. But it didn't have anywhere near the depth this staff does.
