Is this our most united, close-knit recruiting class we've ever had?

Most, if not all of our recruits in this class seem to have come together and become extremely good friends off the field. They all also seem to have the common goal of a championship. In my opinion that is the kind of class we need to have but I haven't seen it in other classes as much as I have in this one. The whole "CatchUp Gang" that they started is pretty cool to me. They aren't even teammates yet but after one weekend, you've got guys like Tee Shepard saying it all the time now. Thoughts?

I think this class is very solid and will help us get to the next level. Lots of under-rated kids in this class. Of course, we have already built so much depth, most of these guys will hopefully be redshirted.

Yes, Dan. It is great.

Seriously though, I have no idea. I don't follow 'cruits on twitter. I dislike recruiting but love football, so I am forced into hearing some of it. It does seem that there is almost no controversy associated with this class. I like it because it doesn't dominate the boards. We had a small class to fill this year, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Well we`ve seen what "super stars" playing more as individuals than a team looks like. I learned a long time ago that. being a successful business owner/manager is more reliant employee attitude than any other single factor. I think what you posted is a good sign if it`s correct and Dan can pick his "game" up a few notches.

They're a cross between the Rookies of....

...the 1974 Pittsburgh Steelers and the 1990 Dallas Cowboys. THis is the recruiting class on which the stars fell.

They're also all in a large GroupMe on their phones

They're also all in a large GroupMe on their phones where they stay in constant communication with each other daily. Definitely the most tight-knit signing class we've ever had.

Is this what you were trying to do?

Benock would make a huge difference as an outside shooter on this team. Think about that.
