Is this the best team we've had in past 20 years?

We look LOADED

Skyler Howard may go down as the best QB in WVU history.

WVU congrats on 3-0 and being ranked this season. I know since joining The Big 12 this has not been easy for your team, that said you guys have a tough road games in The Big 12. OU is nothing to take lightly and think WVU will on the road. I am picking WVU over sooners by 3pts I fear WVU will do okay in this game. Your QB is good and RB's and WR's are good. But i find myself asking is WVU a contender this season. Your team could be the shock of the season and win the Big 12 it is hard to say teams so far for WVU has not been a test. I stand by WVU will win by 3pts only if WVU does not beat itself with stupid mistakes and turnovers. Good Luck this weekend

What I like about this team is how Dana has built it. The national media painted Dana has an "Air Raid Offensive Mad Scientist" who liked high scoring games with little regard for defense. Dana has built this particular team's strength around defense and has a solid focus on the running game. Sprinkle that in with an air raid style downfield passing attack and you have a big winner. I hope it continues.

There's no way 2011 beats them sideways. They barely escaped with wins at USF and against Pitt. The only good defensive team in LSU beat us pretty badly.

In my opinion, Kansas St is the game that scares me most this year.

I think we may be facing Leonard Fournette in the Cotton Bowl.

I would agree with you about Kansas State however the only reason I don't is that we haven't beaten them yet and that's motivation enough. I'm hoping Texas tech shows a chink in the armor before they come to Morgantown or that TCU's defense is truly that bad. If we have one thing going for us this year in the big 12 it's that we probably have the best chance of stopping anyone defensively barring any significant injury.

Right now, OU is the only team I'm semi worried about! I like our chances against this OU team but am concerned about our run defense.

To ask that question after 3 games against teams not in the top 25, maybe not even the top 50, of college football today qualifies as premature ejaculation.
That's a grammar term, by the way.
Why don't we wait till Nov. 1 to re-think that one.
Pat White, Steve Slaton, Owen Schmitt were pretty fair football players, too.

that statement is a little more than convenient, since Oklahoma has one of the best backs in the nation..I'm concerned too

OP, I think you have the answer, and conclusively.

An offense that turns the ball over 5 times, usually unforced, and gives the WVU defense a short field all day long is NOT the best team in 20 years. Not even close.

Another example of how premature ejaculation makes you look foolish.

For that who are challenged, that's a grammar term.

Over the top is trying to evaluate a team that has beat the likes of GS, Liberty, and this years version of MD.

Sure, our team has done EVERYTHING to give us hope about their potential....but the best team in the last 20 years ?

It's a pathetic question at this point of the season... ....and the sad thing is some people are trying to give sincere answers.

Uncle O, talk about nailing the answer.....
