Is this too much to believe in for 2014?

So what do you think?

I can see 9-3 or 10-2 with LSU and aTm being my uncertainty and thinking we need to take at least one of those.

W - USM
W - UAB
W - @South Alabama
W - @LSU
W - A&M
L - Auburn
W - @KY
W - Hogs
W - UT Martin
L - @Bama
W - Vandy

I think we'll beat Auburn at home. They've been awfully lucky this year. They only mention close games with Georgia and Alabama, but they beat us with a last second touchdown. Not sure we'll beat LSU though. It's in BR, and they seem to have our number. I wouldn't be disappointed with 9-3.

That wool coat will come in handy next week. If someone can convince me..

that our offensive line will not struggle after losing an All-American guard with 52 starts, I may sprout some wool myself.

The Egg Bowl will be a toss up, at best. It seems like the talent level on both teams is equal enough that the home team will win it the next few years. Auburn will be tough, but I say we beat them at home before we win in Tiger Stadium. I don't know what to expect out of A&M next year. To me our three toss up games are Auburn, A&M, and Ole Miss. Those three will be the difference between 7-5 and 10-2.

We've beaten LSU three times in 25 years. Once in Red Stick.

Predicting MSU to beat them is like my toddler forgetting that his hand goes outside the drawer every time he shuts one.

Yep, I think 7-5 is legitimately the floor. Vegas will probably have O/U at 7.5. I believe we will actually end up between 8-9 wins, however. Could see beating Auburn but losing to LSU, Bama and TSUN.

8-3. Losses to LSU & Bama; Auburn & Mississippi games are tossups.

I think we have a chance to do big things next year, but it will take Mullen jumping that hurdle he hasn't been able to jump. He will have to beat a few teams he isn't supposed to beat.

We should easily beat USM, UAB, USA, UT Martin
We should beat Arkansas and Vandy in Starkville
We SHOULD beat Kentucky on the road
We have a good shot at A&M in Starkville without JM
We should have a shot at Auburn in Starkville
The difference in a huge season and a decent season is the road games...@LSU, @Bama, @OM

If everything goes perfectly, I could see 10-2. But if I had to say right now I would go with 8-4 as being realistic.

LSU....we had our chance in 2009. Next year, we will have to play a perfect game to beat Auburn. A&M should be a win without Johnny. If we don't beat them at home, we won't be a good football team. Have to win this one in order to have a chance against Aub.

The floor for MSU should be 9 wins next season. Minus Bama and LSU being on the road, that's the easiest schedule I've seen an SEC team have in my 23 years. Get to ten wins against the right teams and the West becomes a realistic goal next year. I would love for EB '14 to carry the weight IB '13 did.
