3 USM Fans on Twitter replied back? That's, what, 40% of the total population?

Is he complaining about that allotment? If so, this is a big reason why state should not schedule southern.

Does anyone know how many we typically allot for visiting SEC teams or even Alcorn, JSU?

I honestly don't understand why we don't totally remove them from our schedule in every sport, mens and women's.

In the situation they are in right now, they should be on their hands and knees thanking us. And their AD should be cutting greg byrne's yard during the summer as a kickback because his salary might not get paid without this game. Amazing.

He's going to allocate 13.9% to MSU? Moron.

This guy has no concept of proportion. Certainly he just did a bad job with that tweet?

They don't even have student tickets, they just have to show a student ID. I can't tell you how many times in high school I walked into a USM game flashing a credit card or something to the guy at the gate.

I swear that's exactly what I thougt... He's giving almost 15% of his tickets to the visiting team for a game they've been trying to make happen for 20 years?? Damn.

I don't understand this tweet. Schools almost always give each other the same number of visitor tickets in a home and home. Good luck USM on selling those remaining 31,000 tickets. I'm sure some MSU fans will help you out.

What a dick, does he actually think they will come even close to taking 7,000 to Bama? He's not even getting that many at home games right now and they are giving tickets out to Boy Scouts, Boys/Girls Clubs etc. Has he looked at their balance sheet lately you wonder?

Are they going to "reciprocate that number" when Alabama

goes to Hattiesburg? Oh wait, never mind.

Some of you are in for a rude awakening when we go to Hattiesburg (as far as ticket availability goes). They will have fans coming out of the woodworks for that game. They will treat it like the super bowl, and I don't care how bad they are supposed to be. You're about to find out why no one wanted to schedule them in the first damn place.

Literally. They will be handing out tickets for free at the Lowes's lumber department. And one glance at the stadium should be all the reason to never schedule a game there. Maybe we'll buy it out and let them schedule a game with Millsaps.

This game was one of the worst things Byrne did. The rumor was we scheduled the game to get in good graces with Phil Bryant.

When I was in high school, you got a "free" ticket to the USM home opener for every $50 you spent back-to-school shopping at the McRae's in Turtle Creek Mall.

I also remember the MSU-USM basketball game at Hattiesburg in 95/96 being at least 40% State fans.

This is a lot of butt-hurt over nothing.

Pretty sure 5000 is a pretty typical number of tickets offered to the other team's ticket office. That's spelled out in the contract that was signed five or so years ago. He's not attacking us in that tweet.
