Drew should get caught up in this scandal too.

Vanderbilt has the worst coaching I’ve seen in a log time. I’d take Bruce Weber or Maybe even Tubby over Drew Junior. He’s just a bag man pretending to coach. His brother is a bag man who can kind of coach.

Bryce Drew gives impassioned locker room speeches and recruit$ like a champ, but the results are certainly underwhelming.

You lose your point guard that's NBA bound and it makes for a long season.

Apparently LSU didn’t need Smart. How old is this Freshman anyway. With that hairline his forehead looks like a fivehead.

I understand they lost their best player and the SEC is improved but the bottom of the league is as bad as ever. It's hard to believe they couldn't sneak up on a fellow bottom feeder in their Broadway theater on late Tuesday night or something. 0-18 seems really hard to do if you're actually trying to win.

And to think without the flopping they would have gone 1-17 with a win over Tenn. That might have been like a Quad 6 loss.

They're really horrible.

And it isn't just the lack of skill. The lack of effort and decision-making is worse than a lot of high school or AAU teams. Unreal how they've mailed it in.

I will admit, I have felt sorry for Vanderbilt this season, unless they were playing UK of course. Their point guard was not only a good player, he may have been right there with a couple others for the best point guard in the SEC.

Having said this, there is no excuse for not winning a single game in the SEC. Tonight, LSU and their fans were mad and once Vandy got punched, they just laid down and quit.

Why any elite player would even consider going there is mind-boggling.
Vandy is probably one school I’d say for academics. And it has a clean campus
Nashville IS a decent town, unlike some. Lots to do. Outside of the city there is some beautiful countryside. Plus you have the food and music scene.
Vandy has a lot to offer.....

Yeah it’s probably money :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They really did that?
I know it's an SEC rule but I'm pretty sure that it's an NCAA rule unofficially dubbed the "Bear Bryant Rule." It came into play for us when Derrick Locke played here and ran track. The rule states that if you want to play 2 sports and one of them is football that you have to be on a football scholarship. Alabama's men's diving team when the Bear was there sucked but they could do some really good cannonball's. They tucked football players on all of the other men's teams.

Yeah I completely get why a 3 or 4 star player would want to go to school there if offered, but an elite top 10-20 recruit who is likely gonna leave after a year anyway, there's really no reason to go to Vandy.

Honestly think they laid down today and not cared. But watch them make a run in the tourney

My daughter goes to school there and has a group project with a few of their players. She said when she left for Spring Break last week, they all wanted to leave for home as well. They have checked out. At least they helped out with tickets for next week. :)

I wouldn't want to be a player or coach on a team that went 0-18 in the league. I thought they were capable of winning some games this year when we played them. They also had Tennessee beat until that demoralizing call went against them with Williams flopping. So along with losing Garland something else happened along the way whether it be just quitting on the coach or some kind of internal problem.

I mean you could tell. They put zero effort in the game. It is what it is
