Is Westmoreland Hanging It Up For The Season?

Saw a post saying Westmoreland has forfeit their game this Friday vs. Essex. The post also said that they also canceled the rest of their football season due to injuries and players that are no longer on the team that drop the number of available players. Is there any truth to this?

Looks like it’s legit, could be a good thing for Essex giving the players a bye week heading into the playoff. There were a few players banged up after the Lancaster game.

How does this affect power points? IF Essex wins the region, do they have enough points to host the state semis?

If Westmoreland forfeits Essex would receive the win. Meaning they would get the points for that win.
