Enjoy your posts my friend but we will just have to disagree on this one.
I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle although I do empathize with your son.
I think every fan base pro and college have these awkward interactions with players from time to time.
Different day different outcome.

how dd a Briscoe post turn to Mitch bashing 🤣
Idk lol but anytime is a good time to bash Mitch. Maybe it could get worse if he left. I really think Kentucky basketball and football would do better when he decides to move on. Unless he hands it off to his son or nephew. If he has either one of those. Let’s hope not.

Would have been a stud in college ball in the 90s. Say what you want about him, the dude could get to the rim.
I mention him for ball handling alone. Briscoe can get anywhere on the court he wants. He can get the ball to shooters. Drive kick. Repeat. Run off the pick and roll. We don’t need Briscoe to come be Steph Curry. Bring the ball up so we can have one of the best two guards in the country be a two guard. And Oweh be the three.

The point is Mitch isn’t going to allow anything like this (not this but situations like this. I imagine this is satire) so it’s a moot point. He follows rules that don’t exist. He’s in charge of basketball again, wasn’t in charge under Calipari. So what he will and won’t do has everything to do with it.

For his sake, he should have played somewhere else. He was never able to play his natural position because of who was in front of him (Tyler Ulis, Jamal Murray, De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk). I think he would have fit better at a Big East school.

I hate when athletes do that crap. I understand some have things going on, but they can always be nice to fans, especially kids.
There are tons of videos out there of Shaq being great to fans, particularly kids. Kobe did a lot for kids as well. It’s a shame some forget they aren’t any better than the next person.

Shaq has always cared about kids. It’s why he sold $20 Wal-Mart shoes instead of being a Nike guy. He wanted kids to be able to afford his shoes. He’s also very generous with his time and money.

I could be wrong.. but i think any late 20s past UK players who are still playing some sort of competitive basketball (as Briscoe is), could come in here and dominate most other point guards.

Briscoe is playing full grown dudes. Looks like past MSU guard Travis Trice is on his team. If you ask me, guys like Briscoe are playing on much better basketball leagues than what you see in college.
