In what fantasy world would Jim Leavitt consider a demotion from a head coaching position at a program that is basically his to shape, and is at a level of success greater than ours?

He has everything that Mullen wanted when he hired Torbush...plus the ability to coach a defense.

I would be surprised if Georgia didn't interview him.

I should have kept reading. My bad. Well, I haven't read on to find out, but why the 17 would USF fire Leavitt? I thought he was doing a good job? Did he pork a pom-pom girl?

Well, not exactly. The kid's dad apparently went apeshit, then the kid backed off his story and said he just grabbed him by the shoulder pads and shook him.

I think Bama was looking at the guy at one point, and decided he is an *******. NCAA football is going to have to grow it's ball's back. This abuse crap is reaching manic proportions. Hell, football IS abuse.

Yeah, Quinterrius Eatmon, but he was basically already ours to lose before this. If we want him, we got him.

should we want him? As far as rankings go, he looks to be ranked higher than anyone we are in on other than Robinson. Per Rivals he's ranked higher than even Gates from GA that I know a lot of MSU folks wanted.
