And I’m wearing my maroon to church this morning, but I’m well aware we are going to get throttled on Friday.

A win over the confederates would go a long way to salvage the season. Just can’t see it happening. I fully expect Shapen to trot out there with a wad of compromising pictures of Lebby sticking out of his pocket. He may have a few positive plays, but he’ll mostly wind up on his back. It’s ok though because “hE’s A wARriOr!” But by then KT will be expected to lead us from behind… something we don’t do very well.
About the only thing I have hope for is that come Saturday we get news that Lane is headed to Red Stick, taking half his players and commits with him, dealing OM a crippling blow and causing the CFP committee to drop them, if not exclude them entirely.

The rivalry only gets toxic when State is good.

Just having UM in the state makes Mississippi toxic. I despise them all. I confess I do use some of them for business purposes, but only in the same manner that a pimp uses his "employees". I refuse to have personal relationships with any of them.

Although I predict we will lose on Friday, I do not think it's a forgone conclusion that we get blown out, and an upset in our favor is not impossible.
