Districts should do what they think is right for their district. If you agree, then why do you want CPS high schools to be like suburban school districts with high school enrollments of 2000?

I'm just saying that I disagree that CPS schools should be sized just like suburban schools of 2000.

Clearly, history, population growth (or decline), school financing, and other factors come into play that ultimately determine school size. In Chicago's case, it is the city's population decline combined with the growth of charter schools that has resulted in substantially smaller CPS high schools.

They have a $1.1Billion deficit this year and are asking the state for more money...if other districts are closing schools to save money, why shouldn't the CPS?

Saying that I disagree that CPS schools should be sized like suburban schools of 2000 is not the same as saying that I think they shouldn't close schools to save money.

Be honest now. You have way more problems than that.

By the way, the vast majority of 4A sized CPS schools pose zero threat to any 4A playoff qualifier. As usual with you, it's the high achievers that you have zero tolerance for.
