Yeah, I'm going fishing for a while.

A long while.

Stocking up with bait, beer and ice, 2 rifles and a .44 magnum, (sharks can be frisky), a varied collection of CDs, a box of cigars, food for a week, extra batteries, a brunette with daddy issues and a redhead with feet on one end and fire on the other.

Screw reality. No TV, no radio and no phone.

I hope to find paradise, but if not? Who gives a ****.

No drug can give me what I'm fixing to do.

I had a feeling that I have never had before- I was dreading going to the game. I finally just decided to stay home and hang out with my girlfriend. My Mom couldn't believe that I wasn't going. I just finally said, I've been to La Tech, all of the home games GT, and UT. I'm tired and I'm tired of watching ****** football. For me, it turned out to be a great decision.

And the thing is, one of my dreams growing up was to be able to go to all of MSU's home games and have season tickets. My Dad wouldn't take me a whole lot, and I used to imagine what it would be like to go while I was listening to Jack or watching the game on TV. Thanks for ruining my dream, Croom.

bost is the key to our success this year. we'll be solid inside, esp. on defense. bost needs to make the offense work and set up easy baskets here and there. i think he can and will. look for a huge year from him. he's a legit pg - and that's exciting.

I broke down a few months back and bought some Southern Pecan. Not great.

It totally robs me of the anticipation of the coming games every weekend. I really couldn't care less about watching LSU/Bama or having Game Day on in the house Saturday morning.

I really just wish football season would disappear.

Why does corn not digest?

Actually, you are partially correct that the human digestive system can't digest sweet corn (on the cob). The part that you see exit your body as part of your fecal matter is actually the part that the human digestive system can't do much with, because we don't have the enzymes (complicated proteins that the body creates) to break apart what the corn kernel covering is made of...some animals can, though. I think that maybe seeing the coverings not digested is what made you think that the whole corn kernel isn't digested.

The rest of the corn kernel (the interior stuff) is easily digestible by the human digestive system. The center part of the kernel is mainly starch (complex carbohydrate) and a little bit of protein...and a few vitamins and minerals. The human body then can absorb the breakdown products from the starch and protein, as well as the vitamins and minerals into the blood stream, where the materials can be delivered to the rest of the body tissues.

So, the end result is that, in order to get the maxiumum nutritional yield from the sweet corn you eat, make sure that it is well cooked and that you chew it well, so your digestive tract has the chance to 'capture' all the nutrients that it can from the corn.

when your team sucks, it just makes it not that much fun. You don't enjoy reading the paper on Sunday, you don't wait to see if your team's highlights make it to Sportscenter, etc.
