Good post for a couple reasons. More over you are right about 7-6 looking a lot better than 6-7.
Love the jab about caring about the game. It's been great watching the fall out since the exact arrogance Ole Miss fans are mocked for bit them in the ***. Now they have to choose, admit they are more in line with us than they want to admit and shift the mentality or keep the same attitude they have had and keep getting beat by us.

It is very similar to us and Kentucky.
The silliest thing to me is that admitting you need to beat Vandy, State, Arky, & Auburn in that order is not admitting you are a lesser team. It's just being realistic.
I know that for us it has to be Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn & Arky before we even begin to think about the Bama, UGA and LSUs of the conference.
Why so many of them want to skip that step and move directly to SEC Championship amazes me. Those are the most important games on the schedule every year before the season starts. And none of them should be treated as "less important" or "less desired" because of your self-aggrandizement.

Yes -- we need a decisive victory in the bowl game.
We saw alot of improvement over the final few weeks of the season this year and have built up a good bit of momentum. I'd like to see it continue through the offseason and into next year and losing a bowl game to a C-USA opponent would almost certainly kill it.
That said, we've gotten a little swag back and should be more healthy for a bowl. I expect us to dominate that game -- and have a good bit of attention going into next year with what we've got returning. Won't be quite "pre2011" level -- but should be the 2nd most hyped MSU team under Mullen...

Finishing the year
with a winning record would be huge. With this past year being a rebuilding year in the secondary and w the WRs, combined with the tough schedule, it would really be a good result.
